Inner Nature / Outer Knowing.

Updated: Jan 10

When you are alone in the woods, being naked feels like nothing at all. And that is actually very healthy.

And the reason it feels like nothing at all ... is because it is totally natural. As natural as the air we breathe. We don't need to celebrate breathing, we just do. In the same way, being naked outdoors feels so natural that it is not even noteworthy. I think many people report this the first time they give nudism a spin. Almost every single person reports that after five or so minutes, they don't even notice they are naked any more.

The feeling of naked freedom is not a new liberation, it is an old one: it's a return to the feeling all personkind used to know, the feeling of being a part of nature, not apart from nature.

This tells us something. Clothes - which were once made to protect us - have become something else instead: a way to hide who we really are from ourselves, and others. So when we are finally able to drop our clothes, the feeling of naked freedom is not a new liberation, it is an old one: it's a return to the feeling all personkind used to know, the feeling of being a part of nature, not apart from nature.

Ok, good enough for now,
